Matthew Abercrombie is a mixed-media visual artist who was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Abercrombie moved to New York City at the age of nineteen and attended The School of Visual Arts. There Abercrombie studied drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and filmmaking.
In 2001 Matthew and a close friend documented the collapse of the Twin Towers in Lower Manhattan.
Credits and contributions include numerous award winning projects and high profile clients including National Geographic, HBO, Bad Boy Entertainment, The Learning Channel and many more.
He creates captivating images, murals, walls, wall hangings, designs and environments of all types. Matthew currently resides in Seattle and travels regularly.
